Mother and daughter attacked in Nagoya; 52-year-old son arrested after fleeing

In Nagoya, a mother and daughter were seriously injured in a stabbing at a municipal housing unit in Higashi Ward, and the suspect, the 52-year-old son, was arrested for attempted murder after being on the run. Police say the suspect is accused of stabbing his older sister (53) in the neck and abdomen with a knife on the night of the 29th. The sister was seriously injured but is not in life-threatening condition. The mother (80) was also seriously hurt, and police are investigating further.

名古屋市の市営住宅で母と娘が包丁で刺されるなどして重傷を負った事件で、逃走していた52歳の息子が逮捕されました。 　殺人未遂の疑いで逮捕されたのは東区の職業不詳・乾純司容疑者（52）です。 　警察によりますと乾容疑者は29日夜、東区の市営住宅の一室で姉（53）の首や腹を包丁で突き刺すなどして殺害しようとした疑いが持たれています。 　姉は重傷を負いましたが、命に別状はありませんでした。 　乾容疑者は犯行後逃走していましたが、31日午前4時ごろ、中警察署に1人で出頭したということです。 　乾容疑者は「あっています」と容疑を認め、母親も刺したという趣旨の供述をしているということです。 　姉とともに母親（80）も重傷を負っていて、警察が詳しく調べています。 [テレ朝NEWS] https://news.tv-asahi.co.jp
