Luxury watch stolen in Nakano returned by courier with apology note

A luxury wristwatch worth about 46 million yen was stolen by a man posing as a customer from a watch shop at Nakano Broadway in Nakano, Tokyo, on the 29th of last month. According to investigative sources, on the morning of the 1st, the stolen watch and a handwritten note reading "sorry" were delivered to the store by parcel courier. The serial number of the watch matched the stolen item. The package was reportedly sent from within Aichi Prefecture.

東京・中野区の商業施設で高級腕時計が盗まれた事件で、盗まれた腕時計と「すみません」と書かれたメモが被害店舗に送られていたことが分かりました。 　先月29日、「中野ブロードウェイ」の時計店で、時価4600万円相当の腕時計が客を装った男に盗まれました。 　捜査関係者によると1日午前、被害店舗に盗まれた腕時計と「すみませんでした」という旨の手書きのメモが宅配便で送られてきたということです。 　時計はシリアルナンバーが被害品と一致していました。 　被害品は愛知県内から発送されているということです。 [テレ朝NEWS] https://news.tv-asahi.co.jp
