Oarai, Ibaraki: man re-arrested over killing of restaurant owner in attack on two women

A man has been re-arrested on suspicion of killing a 72-year-old restaurant owner in Oarai, Ibaraki Prefecture, in a case where two women were stabbed at a restaurant. The 30-year-old suspect admits the charge but says he does not remember how the events unfolded. He had earlier been arrested on suspicion of injuring a 41-year-old acquaintance who had visited the restaurant with him. Police are continuing to investigate the circumstances of the incident.

茨城県大洗町の飲食店で女性2人が刺され死傷した事件で、72歳の経営者を殺害した疑いで男が再逮捕されました。 　内山公太郎容疑者（30）は4日、大洗町で飲食店経営者の香取節子さんの首や背中を植木ばさみで刺すなどして殺害した疑いが持たれています。 　容疑を認めていますが、経緯や方法については「覚えていない」と話しているということです。 　内山容疑者は一緒に店を訪れた知人女性（41）を植木ばさみで刺し、けがをさせた疑いで逮捕されていました。 　警察によりますと、植木ばさみは現場近くの住宅にあったものだということです。 　内山容疑者と知人女性らは他の店などで酒を飲んだ後、香取さんの店を初めて訪れていたということです。 　警察は犯行に至った経緯を詳しく調べています。 [テレ朝NEWS] https://news.tv-asahi.co.jp
