PHP vulnerability halts web services; fix released
A critical vulnerability has been found in PHP, a programming language widely used across the world. As a result, the homepages and services of various companies have been suspended. PHP is used to build and run websites, including corporate pages and admin panels, and is said to power nearly 70 percent of all websites. The PHP development team released a fix to remove the risk, and the Japanese government's National Cybersecurity Office has urged that it be applied as quickly as possible.
