Companies respond to PHP vulnerability: HIS suspends online bookings

Companies are responding to a vulnerability found in the PHP programming language. Travel firm HIS suspended online bookings for domestic and overseas trips and paused online card payments from the evening of the 21st, and restored services on the 22nd after repair work. Restaurant chain Zensho has halted use of apps including Sukiya and Hama Sushi, with no restoration timeline given. MUFG Bank also suspended part of its internet services citing emergency maintenance.
