Arthith Rajnath’s talk, as a Pre-University student, challenges the habit of constantly asking “Why?” and explores how the questions we ask can shape our thinking, choices, and understanding of the world. The talk encourages audiences to look beyond conventional explanations, question assumptions, and embrace curiosity with an open mind. It invites us to reflect on how changing our perspective can lead to deeper understanding, self-discovery, and new possibilities. IGrade 11 student, aspiring astrophysicist, pianist, MUNer, and overthinker, fascinated by questions without easy answers. I led my school’s first-ever MUN conference, bringing together 300 participants. Seven years of MUN have taught me to listen, debate, lead, and challenge perspectives. Music, especially the piano, gives me serene tranquility. I’m drawn to astrophysics because the universe makes us feel both insignificant and endlessly curious. Beyond academics, I enjoy discovering ideas, questioning assumptions, and turning observations into questions. This talk was given at a TEDx event using the TED conference format but independently organized by a local community. Learn more at https://www.ted.com/tedx
