US media report that Russian President Vladimir Putin proposed a three-way summit with US President Donald Trump and Chinese President Xi Jinping to discuss the situation in Ukraine. According to the Wall Street Journal, the proposal was made during a phone call between Putin and Trump on the 9th and was linked to the APEC leaders' meeting in Shenzhen, southern China, next month. Ukrainian President Zelensky is not included in the proposal. Trump has reportedly said he does not agree with the idea.
