Rochi Sporleder describes how a streptococcus pyogenes infection in March 2023 led to septic shock that nearly cost her life. The talk covers 500 days of hospitalization, 50 surgeries and a rehabilitation process in which she relearned to swallow, write and dress. She now uses a wheelchair and shares a message of resilience and hope. The talk was given at an independently organized TEDx event.

El 24 de marzo de 2023 una infección por estreptococo pyogenes la llevó a un shock séptico que casi le cuesta la vida. Lo que vino después, fue un camino de 500 días de internación, 50 cirugías y un proceso de rehabilitación en el que tuvo que reaprender a tragar, a escribir, a vestirse. Hoy Rochi está en silla de ruedas.
