Brothel disguised as Thai massage parlor in Shinjuku, Tokyo

A 63-year-old Chinese national has been arrested in Shinjuku, Tokyo, on suspicion of running a sex business under the guise of a Thai massage parlor in an area where such businesses are prohibited. The suspect allegedly set up a massage room in an apartment and employed Thai female workers who lived on the premises. Three of the women were also arrested, and the suspect denies knowing what happened in the private rooms. The Metropolitan Police Department is investigating the business, which reportedly brought in more than 20 million yen in sales over about three and a half months.

東京・新宿区で、営業が禁止されている地域にもかかわらずタイマッサージ店として風俗店を営業したとして、63歳の男が逮捕されました。 　中国籍の張宏容疑者は21日、新宿区百人町のアパートの一室で、営業禁止地域にもかかわらず、タイマッサージ店として風俗店を営業した疑いが持たれています。 　警視庁によりますと、張容疑者は自宅にマッサージ室を作り、タイ国籍の女性従業員を住み込みで働かせていて、従業員の女3人も逮捕されています。 　取り調べに対し、「個室内で女の子がやっていることは知らない」と容疑を否認しています。 　この店は3カ月半ほどで2000万円以上を売り上げていたとみられ、警視庁は実態解明を進めています。 [テレ朝NEWS] https://news.tv-asahi.co.jp
