Comedy trio Wagaya's Sugiyama referred to prosecutors over suspected shoplifting

According to the Metropolitan Police Department, he allegedly placed items such as sausages and frozen food into a bag at a self-checkout without scanning them. A store employee noticed the suspicious movements on a monitor and approached him as he left, and he reportedly admitted the charge, saying he was worried about lower income.
