Tohoku Shinkansen resumes operations on all lines after overhead wire obstruction

Tohoku Shinkansen service has resumed on all lines. Trains in both directions between Tokyo and Morioka had been temporarily suspended after an obstruction was found on the overhead wires between Koriyama and Fukushima stations. According to JR East, repair work has been completed and safety has been confirmed. Some sections in both directions are still reporting delays.

JR東日本によりますと、東北新幹線は全線で運転を再開しました。 　郡山駅と福島駅の間の架線に支障物が見つかった影響で、東京駅と盛岡駅の間の上下線で一時運転を見合わせていました。 　復旧作業が完了し、安全が確認できたということです。 　一部区間の上下線に遅れが出ています。 [テレ朝NEWS] https://news.tv-asahi.co.jp
