Four people arrested for allegedly extorting 140,000 yen from man in his 20s, Toshima, Tokyo

Four men and women have been arrested on suspicion of extorting 140,000 yen from a man in his 20s, whom they met through a dating app, at a rental room in Toshima, Tokyo. According to the Tokyo Metropolitan Police Department, the suspects allegedly made the man drink large amounts of high-proof alcohol under the pretext of a punishment game and then demanded payment. The man paid 30,000 yen and then borrowed about 100,000 yen from a consumer finance company to pay the rest. Two suspects partly denied the charges, while two declined to answer questions.

罰ゲームなどと称して大量の酒を飲ませて、男性から飲食代14万円を脅し取ったとして、男女4人が逮捕されました。 　岡部裕太容疑者（36）ら4人は6月、東京・豊島区のレンタルルームで、マッチングアプリで知り合った20代の男性から現金14万円を脅し取った疑いが持たれています。 　警視庁によりますと、岡部容疑者らは男性に罰ゲームなど称してアルコール度数の高い酒を大量に飲ませていて、その代金として現金を払うよう脅していました。 　男性は現金3万円を支払い、その後、消費者金融からおよそ10万円を借りて支払っていました。 　取り調べに対し、岡部容疑者と徳田容疑者は容疑を一部否認、渡辺容疑者と大久保容疑者は「言いたくありません」と話しています。 [テレ朝NEWS] https://news.tv-asahi.co.jp
