Community Briefing for Farmers in Narita After Typhoon 25 Flooding (November 1, 2026)

A briefing for farmers was held in Narita, Chiba Prefecture, after heavy rain from Typhoon 25 caused flood damage. Four embankments broke around Lake Inba and its surroundings, and more than 500 hectares of farmland, including rice paddies, were submerged. The city presented support for restoring farm roads and drainage channels starting in November, as well as help with replacing machinery. Narita plans to begin financial support for farmers with the prefecture before the end of the year.
