Death toll rises to 31, 48 missing after school strike in Ukraine; Russia says it hit military units

The death toll from an attack on a school in southern Ukraine's Zaporizhzhia region has risen by seven to 31, according to Ukraine's State Emergency Service. Ukrainian media report that 48 more people are missing. President Zelensky said on social media that the school was a site for distributing humanitarian aid and that shelter where victims had taken refuge was struck nine times after the first bombing. The Russian Ministry of Defense claims the target was Ukrainian army units and says it killed 25 soldiers.
