House Minority Leader Hakeem Jeffries accused Republicans of systematic efforts to undermine free and fair elections amid wide political debate over the integrity of the electoral process. Secretary of State Marco Rubio downplayed the impact of the vote, saying national security and foreign policy decisions remain with the executive branch.
