US midterm elections: Democrats set to regain majorities in both House and Senate

Democrats are set to regain majorities in both the Senate and the House in the United States midterm elections. President Trump's Republican Party suffered a historic defeat. According to CNN, Democrats held their seats in closely watched Michigan and other states, and won in Texas and Kansas, taking seven seats from Republicans. Trump has two years left in his term, but losing control of Congress will make governing more difficult.

（C）　CABLE NEWS NETWORK 2026 [テレ朝NEWS] https://news.tv-asahi.co.jp
