Yamato unveils new Tokyo logistics hub, aiming for 30-minute delivery in the capital
Yamato Transport has opened to the press its DPL Tokyo Shinonome logistics base, one of the largest facilities in its group, which begins operating next month. The six-story building has a total floor area of about 150,000 square meters, equal to three Tokyo Domes. The company says it can deliver within 30 minutes across Tokyo's 23 wards. The hub aims to ease labor shortages through new sorting equipment.
