Yashio road collapse accident: family of man who died sues Saitama Prefecture for 125 million yen

去年1月、埼玉県八潮市で道路が陥没し、トラックが落下して男性が死亡した事故で、男性の遺族が埼玉県を相手取り、約1億2500万円の損害賠償を求める裁判を起こしました。 　訴状などによりますと、去年1月、八潮市の交差点で道路が陥没し、走行中のトラックが落下しました。 　運転していた当時74歳の男性は約3カ月後に下水道管の中で発見され、死亡が確認されました。 　原因究明委員会の調査では、県が管理する下水管が硫化水素によって腐食したことが原因と結論付けられています。 　遺族側は埼玉県が下水管の安全管理を怠っていた「国家賠償法上の瑕疵」があったとして、合わせて約1億2500万円の賠償を求める裁判を起こしました。 　埼玉県は「亡くなられた方にお悔やみを申し上げるとともに、訴状の内容を精査し、今後とも適切に対応していく」とコメントしています。 [テレ朝NEWS] https://news.tv-asahi.co.jp
