McKellips Rd. While in the lobby, the suspect, identified as 23-year-old Eva Josefina Garcia, pointed a gun at the station police aide, who then alerted other employees that there was an armed person in the lobby. While officers were responding to the lobby, Garcia pointed the gun at another citizen in the lobby, who was there for other police business. Responding officers entered the lobby, giving loud, direct verbal commands to the suspect to drop the gun. When officers began to enter the lobby, Garcia raised the gun toward the officers. In response to the threat of an innocent citizen, one officer shot Garcia. Once the woman fell to the ground and dropped the handgun, officers rushed to secure her and render first aid until she could be transported to the hospital for her injuries. Garcia remains under protective custody at the hospital. No citizens or Scottsdale Police employees were injured during the incident. The time from when the woman presented the gun until the officer-involved shooting happened was about one minute. 🚨𝑇ℎ𝑖𝑠 𝑐ℎ𝑎𝑛𝑛𝑒𝑙 𝑝𝑟𝑜𝑣𝑖𝑑𝑒𝑠 𝑐𝑜𝑛𝑡𝑒𝑥𝑡𝑢𝑎𝑙 𝑑𝑜𝑐𝑢𝑚𝑒𝑛𝑡𝑎𝑡𝑖𝑜𝑛 𝑎𝑛𝑑 𝑎𝑛𝑎𝑙𝑦𝑠𝑖𝑠 𝑜𝑓 𝑟𝑒𝑎𝑙 𝑝𝑜𝑙𝑖𝑐𝑒 𝑖𝑛𝑐𝑖𝑑𝑒𝑛𝑡𝑠 𝑢𝑠𝑖𝑛𝑔 𝑝𝑢𝑏𝑙𝑖𝑐𝑙𝑦 𝑎𝑣𝑎𝑖𝑙𝑎𝑏𝑙𝑒 𝑟𝑒𝑐𝑜𝑟𝑑𝑠. ⚠️𝑉𝑖𝑒𝑤𝑒𝑟 𝑑𝑖𝑠𝑐𝑟𝑒𝑡𝑖𝑜𝑛 𝑖𝑠 𝑎𝑑𝑣𝑖𝑠𝑒𝑑 𝑑𝑢𝑒 𝑡𝑜 𝑡ℎ𝑒 𝑠𝑒𝑟𝑖𝑜𝑢𝑠 𝑛𝑎𝑡𝑢𝑟𝑒 𝑜𝑓 𝑡ℎ𝑒 𝑐𝑜𝑛𝑡𝑒𝑛𝑡.⚠️ ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Special thanks to Shout-Out Supporters on Patreon: - 'DIY Solar Power with Will Prowse' - KHALID - Michael Griffin - John Doe - 'Twitchypowpow' - Lillian Daley - Tyrell Robertson - christine Grinter - 'The Evil Queen' - Benjamin Osgood - Gary Wilson - LJ - Edward Aquino - Brianna Wilkins - William - Elisabeth Craig - Bobby Roach - Sarin Dipity - Becky Hopkins - thomas - Cody Stephens - Troy Polansky - Tulla Belle - 'quadrakyiro' - Scott Mackin - "John B.
