Two kei cars collide in Hirokawa, Fukuoka; elderly woman dies (Oct 26, 2026)

Two kei cars collided at a T-junction on National Route 3 in Hirokawa, Fukuoka Prefecture. According to police, the crash happened at about 2:30 p.m. on the 25th. An elderly woman in the rear seat of the kei van was taken to hospital and confirmed dead about an hour and a half later. Four other men and women were also taken to hospital, and reportedly none of them are in life-threatening condition. Police are investigating the cause of the accident.

福岡県広川町で軽自動車同士が衝突する事故がありました。男女5人が病院に搬送され、このうち高齢の女性1人が死亡しました。 　警察によりますと、25日午後2時半ごろ、広川町の国道3号の丁字路交差点で、直進していた軽ワゴン車と交差点に入ってきた軽乗用車が衝突しました。 　この事故で、軽ワゴン車の後部座席に乗っていた高齢女性が病院に搬送され、およそ1時間半後に死亡が確認されました。 　また、軽ワゴン車と軽乗用車に乗っていた男女2人ずつ、合わせて4人も病院に搬送されました。 　命に別状はないということです。 　警察が事故の原因を詳しく調べています。 [テレ朝NEWS] https://news.tv-asahi.co.jp
