Good Smile Company online store breach may have exposed card data of 2,800 people

Good Smile Company, which sells figures and other products, has announced that unauthorized access to its official online store may have leaked credit card information for 2,800 people. A malicious program was reportedly planted on the payment page, potentially affecting card details entered between 1:55 p.m. on the 21st and 7:00 a.m. on the 23rd. The information that may have been exposed includes cardholder names, full 16-digit card numbers and security codes. The company is urging customers to check their card statements and contact their card issuer immediately about any unfamiliar transactions.

フィギュアなどの販売を手掛けるグッドスマイルカンパニーは、公式通販サイトが不正アクセスを受け、2800人分のクレジットカード情報が漏洩（ろうえい）した恐れがあると発表しました。 　グッドスマイルカンパニーによりますと、漏洩した可能性のあるクレジットカード情報は、名義人の名前や16桁の番号すべて、セキュリティコードなど2800人分です。 　決済ページに不正なプログラムが仕込まれ、21日午後1時55分から23日午前7時までの間に入力されたカード情報が漏洩した可能性があるとしています。 　また、サイトに登録されていた40万枚余りのカード番号の下4桁と有効期限に加え、7600人余りの名前や住所、注文情報も漏洩した可能性があるということです。 　グッドスマイルカンパニーは、不審なメールや電話のほか、カードの利用履歴を確認し、心当たりのない履歴があった場合は速やかにカード会社まで連絡するよう呼び掛けています。 [テレ朝NEWS] https://news.tv-asahi.co.jp
