ICC official: I pursue war criminals and face US sanctions

Nazhat Shameem Khan, Deputy Prosecutor of the International Criminal Court, described the effects of US sanctions imposed on her. She said they limited her access to banking services, led to the cancellation of her credit card, and made it difficult to obtain health insurance. Khan added that the sanctions also affected her family, whose members are barred from entering the United States, and that she has not received a direct explanation for being targeted.
