Mie prefecture mother and daughter killing case: suspect bought zip ties before the crime

A man arrested for killing a mother and her daughter, whose bodies were found in Nara in July this year, reportedly bought zip ties at a home improvement store in Mie Prefecture before the crime. Police say the suspect, identified as Imakita, is suspected of killing Sonoe Ikeda (44) at her home in Iga city in February this year, as well as her university-student daughter Rion (20). Zip ties were wrapped around the necks of both victims. Police are investigating the possibility of a premeditated crime, and the suspect has also been indicted for abandoning the bodies.

奈良市で今年7月、三重県伊賀市の親子2人の遺体が見つかった事件で、2人を殺害したとして逮捕された男が犯行前に結束バンドを購入していたことが分かりました。 　警察によりますと、今北容疑者は今年2月、伊賀市の池田園美さん（44）の自宅で、園美さんを殺害したとされるほか、娘で大学生の莉園さん（20）を殺害した疑いが持たれています。 　2人の遺体の首には結束バンドが巻き付いていて、その後の警察への取材で、今北容疑者が犯行前に三重県内のホームセンターで結束バンドを購入していたことが分かりました。 　今北容疑者の自宅からは結束バンドが押収されていて、警察は計画的な犯行の可能性があるとみて調べています。 　今北容疑者は2人の遺体を遺棄した罪でも起訴されています。 [テレ朝NEWS] https://news.tv-asahi.co.jp
