群馬県伊勢崎市で飲酒運転したトラックに衝突され、親子3人が死亡した事故で危険運転致死傷の罪に問われた元トラック運転手の裁判で、東京高裁は1審に続いて懲役20年の判決を言い渡しました。 　鈴木吾郎被告（72）はおととし、トラックを飲酒運転し、塚越湊斗君（2）と父親の寛人さん（26）、祖父の正宏さん（53）の3人を死亡させたなどの危険運転致死傷罪に問われています。 　1審の前橋地裁は危険運転致死傷罪の成立を認め、法定刑の上限である懲役20年の判決を言い渡しました。 　鈴木被告側は、より刑の軽い過失運転致死傷罪にとどまると主張し、控訴していました。 　今月5日に行われた判決で、東京高裁は「1審判決の量刑が重すぎて不当だとは言えない」と指摘しました。 　そのうえで、鈴木被告側の控訴を退け、1審に続いて懲役20年を言い渡しました。 　判決を受け、遺族は「控訴棄却と聞いた時は安心しました。被告人の態度は相変わらずでしたが、危険運転が認められて、3人の思いが少しでも報われたと思います。少しでも反省しているのであれば、このまま受け入れてほしいと思います」とコメントしました。 [テレ朝NEWS] https://news.tv-asahi.co.jp
