New York City Council Member to Al Jazeera: That Is Not What I Heard About Israel

New York City Council Member Julie Won describes how Israeli soldiers and settlers asked her to leave the land of her Palestinian-American friend in Turmus Ayya. She says she repeatedly asked for a military order justifying their removal, that none was shown, and that they threatened her with arrest if she contacted the police. The interview also covers how settler intimidation is pushing Palestinian families to abandon land passed down for generations.
