Kanto weather: warm days, cooler nights, rain on Monday, good leaf-viewing weather on the weekend

Parts of the Kanto region felt warm during the day but turned cooler at night. Daytime temperatures are expected to be more comfortable, with frost forecast in the mornings in Kusatsu and Karuizawa. Rain is expected to start on the afternoon of November 2, while November 1 and 3 look sunny and suitable for viewing autumn leaves. Autumn foliage has peaked at Kusatsu and Chuzenji Lake, and Takao and Hakone are beginning to change color. Typhoon No. 31 may approach the Ogasawara Islands next week, but is unlikely to come close to Honshu afterward.
