A Kawasaki city official has been arrested on suspicion of leaking the planned price of a public works bid. Kanagawa Police searched Kawasaki City Hall. The suspect is described as a department head in the city's Urban Development Bureau. Police believe similar misconduct may have been repeated and are continuing their investigation.

川崎市が行った工事の入札で予定価格を漏らしたとして市の職員が逮捕されました。警察は市役所に家宅捜索に入りました。 　川崎市のまちづくり局担当部長・関口隆雄容疑者（59）は、おととし行われた塗装・防水工事の一般競争入札を巡り、「川崎塗装業協会」の事務局長に非公開の予定価格を漏らすなどした疑いが持たれています。 　警察によりますと、事務局長は予定価格を基に最低制限価格を算出し、協会内の仕切り役が加盟する業者のどこに落札させるかを決めていました。 　事務局長は市の元職員で、OBとしての立場を利用していたとみられています。 　警察は同様の不正が繰り返されていたとみて調べています。 [テレ朝NEWS] https://news.tv-asahi.co.jp
