Sake brewer whose Niigata factory burned down to resume sales next month

Echigo Tsurukame, a sake brewer in Niigata City, lost its factory in a July fire, along with nearly all of its brewing equipment and data. The company will brew at a factory belonging to a group company and announced that sales will resume next month, starting on the 3rd. After the fire, more than 50 sake breweries across Japan offered support, including brewing tanks. The first product released, Echigo Tsurukame Junmai sake, will include a hand-braided cord and card made by staff as a thank-you to supporters.
