Former nursing home worker arrested over alleged assault on woman in her 90s

Former nursing home employee Yuta Nishimura, 36, has been arrested on suspicion of assaulting a woman in her 90s who was living at the facility. According to the reports, he is suspected of hitting her face and abdomen more than ten times between the 4th and 5th of this month, causing injuries. The woman suffered bruising to both eyes and internal bleeding in her face. Police said he had been in charge of her care and told other staff that a bruise on her left eye had appeared while the installed camera showed no abnormalities. He has admitted to the charges.

老人ホームに入所していた90代の女性に顔を殴るなどの暴行を加えたとして元職員の男が逮捕されました。 　西村雄太容疑者（36）は今月4日から5日にかけて、老人ホームに入所している90代の女性の顔や腹を10回以上殴るなどしてけがをさせた疑いが持たれています。 　女性は両目に打撲や顔の内出血などのけがをしました。 　警視庁によりますと、西村容疑者は当時女性の介護を担当していて、「女性の左目に内出血があるが設置されたカメラに異常はなかった」などと他の職員に報告していたということです。 　取り調べに対し、容疑を認めていて「ストレスの発散や発覚するかもしれないスリルがあった」と話しているということです。 [テレ朝NEWS] https://news.tv-asahi.co.jp
