Inspection at Sapporo's North Safari after removal deadline for illegal structures passes

City officials inspected North Safari Sapporo in Sapporo after the deadline for removing illegal structures had passed. The inspection found that 22 buildings, including animal enclosures, still remained on the grounds. The operating company had requested an extension tied to a new zoo opening, but a review committee rejected the request. The city plans to issue a written administrative guidance order later this month.

違法建築物の撤去期限が過ぎた札幌市のノースサファリサッポロに市の職員が立ち入り検査をしました。 　ノースサファリサッポロの運営会社「サクセス観光」は、先月末までに違法建築物を撤去するよう市から命じられていました。 　2日朝に市の職員が立ち入り検査を行い、その結果、園内の獣舎などが今なお22棟の建物が残っていることが確認されました。 　市によりますと、サクセス観光側は新たな動物園の開園にあわせて撤去期限の延長を市に申し出ていましたが、審査会で却下されました。 　市は今月中にも書面による行政指導を行う方針です。 [テレ朝NEWS] https://news.tv-asahi.co.jp
