29 windows broken at high school, classes suspended in Shimonoseki

Twenty-nine window panes were found broken at Shimonoseki Kogyo High School in Yamaguchi Prefecture. A school staff member discovered the damage around 6:40 a.m., affecting five buildings centered on the homeroom building. An intruder is believed to have entered the school, and police are investigating the case as property damage. The school sent students home and suspended classes temporarily.

高校で窓ガラス29枚が割られているのが見つかり、臨時休校となりました。 　山口県教育委員会によりますと、2日午前6時40分ごろ、下関工科高校で窓ガラスが割られているのを学校の職員が見つけました。 　教室があるホームルーム棟を中心に、5つの建物で合わせて29枚が割られたということです。 　ガラスが飛び散って使えなくなった実習用の機械があるほか、2階と3階にも被害があり、何者かが校舎に侵入したとみられています。 　前日の1日午後10時ごろには異常はなかったということで、警察が器物損壊容疑で捜査しています。 　高校は生徒を帰宅させ、臨時休校としました。 [テレ朝NEWS] https://news.tv-asahi.co.jp
