"Rising From My Ashes" | Tatiana Ruiz | TEDxSan Isidro

Tatiana Ruiz, a former prisoner who now coaches "Las Vencedoras", a women's rugby team made up of women deprived of liberty at the Ezeiza Complex, shares a message about turning adversity into a chance to choose life again. Drawing on an experience marked by pain, despair and hitting rock bottom, she reflects on regaining control, building healthy relationships and finding in love a force that can drive needed change. The talk encourages listeners not to give up and reminds them that it is always possible to change, rebuild and start over. It was given at a TEDx event independently organized by a local community.
