Personal data of over 40,000 people leaked from US Homeland Security Department, including ICE staff
Personal information of more than 40,000 people, including staff involved in covert operations, has reportedly been posted online after a cyberattack on the US Department of Homeland Security. A hacker group calling itself the "Ministry of Peace" is said to have obtained the data from the department's database, according to a site that published the staff information. The leaked records reportedly include staff from ICE and undercover officers. The group says the attack is a response to plans to step up illegal immigration enforcement.
