Utsunomiya Gyoza Festival: Tasting the signature dishes of each shop

The annual Utsunomiya Gyoza Festival is being held in Utsunomiya, Tochigi Prefecture, a city known for its gyoza dumplings. Now in its 26th year, the event is a thank-you to fans of Utsunomiya gyoza. Twenty-four shops from the Utsunomiya Gyoza Association are taking part, each offering its signature gyoza for 200 yen per plate including tax. The festival runs until November 8.

餃子の町として知られる宇都宮市では毎年恒例の「宇都宮餃子祭り」が開かれています。 　このイベントは宇都宮餃子ファンへの感謝祭として開かれていて、今年で26回目を迎えます。 　会場には、宇都宮餃子会に加盟している24店舗が参加しました。 　一皿の個数は店によって異なりますが、各店が自慢の餃子を一皿税込み200円で提供しています。 　晴天に恵まれた7日は朝からたくさんの人が訪れ、人気店には長い行列ができていました。 訪れた人 「毎年来るんですけど、いろんな餃子が食べられておいしいです」 「おいしいです。最高です」 　訪れた人たちは自慢の餃子を食べ比べて店ごとの味の違いを楽しんでいました。 　「宇都宮餃子祭り」は11月8日まで開かれています。 [テレ朝NEWS] https://news.tv-asahi.co.jp
