Yamanashi Dacle Head Office Representative Allegedly Diverted Funds; Withholding Tax Shortfall Flagged

A man who serves as representative director of two organizations, including the Yamanashi Dacle Head Office, which supports recovery from drug dependence in Yamanashi Prefecture, has reportedly been flagged by the Tokyo National Tax Bureau for a withholding income tax shortfall over alleged private use of group funds. According to sources, about 110 million yen was allegedly diverted over the past seven years. The bureau treated the diverted amount as bonuses and imposed roughly 47 million yen in additional tax, including penalty tax. The organization says it has filed an amended return and paid the tax but denies private diversion.

山梨県にある薬物依存症の回復支援などを行う団体の代表が、資金を私的に使っていたとして、東京国税局から源泉所得税の徴収漏れを指摘されていたことが分かりました。 　関係者によりますと、「山梨ダルク本部」など2つの団体で代表理事を務める男性は、団体の資金を飲食や海外旅行などに私的に流用し、額は去年までの7年間でおよそ1億1000万円に上るということです。 　東京国税局は、流用分が団体から男性に対する賞与に当たり、団体に源泉所得税を支払う義務があったとして、重加算税を含めておよそ4700万円を追徴課税しました。 　「山梨ダルク」は「修正申告と納税を済ませました。ただ、私的流用の事実はないです」としています。 [テレ朝NEWS] https://news.tv-asahi.co.jp
