Policial atira em suspeito armado de furto em Walmart após falha do Taser

Policiais do condado de Orange atenderam a um chamado em um Walmart na East Colonial Drive sobre um homem que supostamente furtava um carrinho cheio de itens e possivelmente portava uma faca. Como o homem não obedeceu às ordens, um policial usou um Taser sem efeito e em seguida disparou sua arma de serviço, atingindo o homem, que foi levado ao hospital com ferimentos não fatais. * (Disclaimer: The content in this video is intended for educational and informational purposes only) Orlando, Florida — On February 22, 2026, at approximately 8:30 pm, Orange County Deputies responded to a call at the Walmart at 11250 East Colonial Drive about a man who was stealing a shopping cart full of items and appeared to have a knife. A deputy encountered the man on Colonial Drive near the Walmart and gave the man several commands to stop, but he refused to comply. The deputy then used his taser, but it didn’t have any effect on the man. Shortly after that our deputy can be heard telling the suspect at least three times “don’t reach” and after those commands, the deputy discharged his service weapon, striking the man. He was taken to the hospital with non-life-threatening injuries. Two knives were recovered at the scene. The suspect has been identified as 48-year-old Jason Anthony Beal.
