Influenza cases in Japan: 9.49 per medical institution, slight weekly rise

According to Japan's Ministry of Health, Labour and Welfare, influenza cases reported in the week ending October 25 averaged 9.49 per medical institution nationwide. This is a slight increase from the previous week and about 1.5 times the same period last year. By prefecture, Ehime recorded the highest figure at 22.82, followed by Okinawa and Hyogo.

インフルエンザの1医療機関あたりの患者報告数は「9.49人」で、前の週からわずかに増加しました。27の道府県で患者数が増加しています。 　厚生労働省によりますと、25日までの1週間に報告されたインフルエンザの患者数は、全国の平均で1医療機関あたり「9.49人」でした。 　前の週からわずかに増加し、去年の同じ時期のおよそ1.5倍です。 　都道府県別にみると、最も多いのが愛媛の「22.82人」で、次いで沖縄の「17.39人」、兵庫の「15.02人」となっています。 　全国27の道府県で前の週を上回り、16の道県で注意報レベルの基準となる「10人」を超えています。 　休園や休校、学年・学級閉鎖の対応を取った幼稚園や保育園、小・中学校、高等学校は全国で1293施設でした。 　厚生労働省は、うがいや手洗い、マスクの着用などの基本的な感染対策を呼び掛けています。 [テレ朝NEWS] https://news.tv-asahi.co.jp
