NTT Docomo Announces Up to 300,000 Personal Records Leaked After Unauthorized Access

NTT Docomo has said that unauthorized access to its online shop and My docomo service, used for online contract changes, led to the leak of up to about 300,000 customer records, including names, addresses and mobile phone numbers. The company confirmed the access on the 4th and suspended procedures on the affected service from around 1:00 a.m. on the 5th. Whether credit card information or My Number data was leaked is still under investigation.
