30-Year-Old University Student Arrested for Allegedly Extorting Cash From Tokyo Sex Venue Manager

A 30-year-old university student has been arrested in Tokyo on suspicion of extorting cash from the manager of an adult entertainment venue in Taito Ward. According to the Metropolitan Police Department, she allegedly took 75,000 yen in July by threatening a criminal complaint. She had previously worked at the shop and was reportedly refused re-employment. The suspect denies the charges.

性風俗店の店長から現金を脅し取ったとして大学生の女が逮捕されました。 　大学生の中村靖菜容疑者（30）は7月、東京・台東区にある性風俗店の店長に「売春場所の提供での刑事告発を検討します」「お金をいただけるのであれば告発しません」などと言って現金7万5000円を脅し取るなどした疑いが持たれています。 　警視庁によりますと、中村容疑者は以前この店の従業員として勤務していましたが、退職後に再び働きたいと申し出たところ断られたということです。 　店長から現金を脅し取った後も「刑事告発しない条件として100万円ですかね」「気が変わったんで150万円でお願いします」などと脅していました。 　取り調べに対し、容疑を否認しています。 [テレ朝NEWS] https://news.tv-asahi.co.jp
